Self-cleaning awning fabrics for textile sun protective systems

As of today the Swiss fabric producer STOBAG offers "Orchestra Max", the new awning fabric generation with self cleaning effect, as part of its sun and weather protection systems.

This new technical achievement has been Г± like many beforehand Г± inspired by nature. Like the water-repellent leaves of the Lotus flower the new permaclean equipment makes drops of water roll down the fabric surface and carry along any kind of dirt particles. Even most tiny drops of water have a detergent effect on the awning fabric.


Water resistant and high UV-protection

In addition to its water-resistance and high UV-protection this high performance fabric is coated on one side with fungicidal and UV-resistant acrylate thus offering particularly high water resistance (water gauge 1200 mm).

The awing fabric Г¬Orchestra MaxГ® is suitable for permanent use of long duration, even in changeful climate or high air pollution. Therefore, it can be used in a wide range of fields such as business buildings, hotels and restaurants but also for the needs of private customers.
 
This new product of the STOBAG fabric collection is available in more than 20 colours (single-colour) according to the RAL- and NCS palette and in also various stripe and fantasy designs.
